Scenario
You may see this error in the UltraTax CS or Fixed Assets CS installation error logs.
Error message
CustomAction CheckIfUserCanceled_End returned actual error code 1157
Cause
The Windows permissions for the user running the installation are not sufficient.
Solution
Use Hidden Administrator
- From the Windows Start menu, search for the Command Prompt.
- Right-click the Command Prompt option in the Start menu and choose Run as administrator.
- In the Command Prompt window, enter net user Administrator /active:yes.
- Press ENTER.
Note: If you receive an error message in the command prompt stating that you do not have access to enable this Administrator account, try a different user account. An error during this process may indicate a permissions-related issue which may be causing other issues with the current user account.
- Log out of your Windows profile.
- Log back in using the Hidden Administrator account.with your current credentials. By default, this user account does not have a password and you aren't required to create one.
- Perform the action you were having trouble with (installing or opening an application, for example)
- When you're finished using the account, you can disable it by opening the Command Prompt as administrator again, typing net user administrator /active
:no and hitting ENTER.

Ask your IT professional to give you full control over WinCSI folder and its directories.
