Modifying banner page options

You can modify banner page settings, such as the header, border style, and body text for the banner page. To modify the default banner page settings globally or for only the current user, follow these steps.

  1. Do one of the following, depending on whether you will modify the banner page globally or for a specific user.
    • To modify banner page options globally, choose Setup > System Configuration and click the Banner tab.
    • To modify banner page options for only the current user, click the Send to Email Recipient or File button Arrow pointing to an open envelope in the toolbar, choose Email Recipient or File, and click the Modify/View Banner button to open the Modify/View Banner Page dialog. The Modify/View Banner button is only available when the Include banner page checkbox is marked.
  2. Mark the First page only checkbox if you want the page header to appear only on the first page. When this checkbox is clear, the page header appears on all pages of multi-page banner text.
  3. In the Page header section, click the Modify button to modify the banner page header.
  4. Choose a different page border or choose not to have a page border by choosing items from the Page border field.
  5. Click the Modify button in the Banner page text section to modify the banner page text.
  6. Click the Banner Options button to open a dialog in which you can set preferences for how the links to documents are organized.
  7. Click OK to close the System Configuration dialog or the Modify/View Banner Page dialog.

Note: If you are modifying banner page options for only the current user, you can preview the banner page by clicking the Preview tab. You can also restore the default settings for the current user by clicking the Restore Defaults button in the Modify/View Banner Page dialog.
