To mark a client as being located in a Disaster Area, perform the following steps.
- In the Asset List window, choose Setup > Options.
- In the Calculation tab, mark the Located in a Disaster Area checkbox.
Note: This checkbox is available only if the current client's processing period is 1/1/08 or after.
- Click the Available Dates button.
- In the Select Applicable Federal Disaster Area dialog, click the applicable disaster.
- Click OK to save your changes and return to the Calculation tab.
- Click OK to return to the Asset List window.
Note: You do not need to mark clients as being in a Disaster Area after 2012.
