Updating the original due date for deliverables in existing workflows

You may need to update the original due date of FirmFlow deliverables in existing workflows to comply with periodic changes to tax laws. This method allows you to easily update several deliverables across multiple workflows.

If you have administrative privileges, you can update the original due date by following these steps.

  1. Update the Deliverables list with new compliance due dates.
  2. Choose Administration > Manage FirmFlow from the GoFileRoom toolbar and click the Configuration tab. 
  3. Mark the Update Original Due Date on Roll Forward checkbox.
  4. Click the Save button. 

When you mark the Update Original Due Date on Roll Forward checkbox for a service in the General category, GoFileRoom will update the original due dates for all associated deliverables during the roll-forward process to match the due date of the corresponding deliverables in the Master Deliverables list.

Note: If the Master Deliverable list does not have a due date for a deliverable, GoFileRoom will increment the deliverable by one year.
