Configuring GoFileRoom QuickLaunch

You can configure the GoFileRoom QuickLaunch search feature to do the following:

  • Show the Search criteria screen before performing a search.
  • Automatically add a wildcard (*) at the beginning or end of highlighted text.
  • Search for documents or workflows or open your FirmFlow My Work screen when you double-click the QuickLaunch icon in your system tray.

Follow these steps to change your QuickLaunch settings.

  1. Log in to QuickLaunch, if necessary.
  2. Right-click on the QuickLaunch icon in the system tray and choose Change Settings from the context menu.
    • In the View tab of the GoFileRoom QuickLaunch Settings dialog that opens, you can change settings for displaying indexes before running a search, and adding a wildcard character to the beginning or end of a search phrase.
    • In the Default Menu tab, you can click options to set the double-click behavior of the QuickLaunch icon in the system tray.
  3. Click OK to save your changes.
