The Document Audit report provides a history of actions taken for a document and who took the action. These actions include when it was saved, filed, viewed, edited (for Word and Excel files), and indexed.

Note: You can view the Document Audit Report for only one document at a time.

To view a Document Audit Report in its own window, do one of the following:

  • Open a document and click the History button on the left side of the screen.
  • Perform a search, mark the checkbox for the applicable document in the search results list, right-click the document, and choose Show Document History from the context menu.
  • From the FirmFlow - My Work screen, click a workflow, click the Documents tab, right-click a document, and choose Show Document History from the context menu.

Note: If you do not see the History or Show Document History options, ask one of your firm's GoFileRoom administrators to verify that the Allow Access to Reports checkbox is marked for your user account or any group you are a member of.
