The GoFileRoom Home screen includes a My Documents portlet that allows you to quickly access documents that you have viewed, scanned, indexed, or edited. Follow these steps to view documents through the Home screen.

  1. Click the Home link in the GoFileRoom toolbar.
  2. If the My Documents portlet is not visible, add it to the Home screen.
  3. Select a drawer from the drop-down menu on the left side of the portlet. The options that are available to you are determined by your drawer permission settings.
  4. From the drop-down menu on the right side of the portlet, select Edited, Indexed, Scanned, or Viewed to filter the list of documents based on your previous actions.

    Notes

    • You cannot view locally stored files or documents with a status of Indexed, Barcoded, Scanned, Voided, Deleted Doc, Merged Deleted, or Uploaded.
    • Your selections for filtering documents are saved and will be the default selections the next time you access the My Documents portlet.
  5. Optional: Click the column headings to sort and quickly locate your documents. By default, the My Documents portlet is sorted in descending order by Action Date/Time.
  6. Click the row of the document you wish to view. The document opens in the GoFileRoom viewer.

Note: If you add the My Documents portlet to multiple pages on the Home screen, you can rearrange the columns for each instance independently.
