GoFileRoom ClientFlow allows your firm to publish documents to a portal accessible by your clients and your clients to securely upload documents to your firm. Follow the steps below to create a new ClientFlow user and NetClient portal.
Note: If the client already has a NetClient portal for Remote Payroll or another application, you can simply link ClientFlow to the existing NetClient portal.
- Log in to GoFileRoom as an Administrator or with an account with privileges that allow you to manage users.
- Click Administration
- Click Manage Users and Groups, and open the ClientFlow Users tab.
- Complete the Login and Full Name fields.
Notes
- The last word will be used as the last name.
- The Full Name field will accept a maximum of 30 characters.
- Select the Client Name and Client Number you wish to link to this ClientFlow user within the Add Clients section, then click the ADD button. You may select multiple clients.
Note: This account will only have access to documents the firm publishes for the client(s) you select.
- Optional: If you have configured ClientFlow security groups, select any groups you would like to apply from the Groups pane to the Member of pane.
- Click Save.
- Your client will receive an email asking them to create a login and register the portal.
Note: If your client does not receive the email have them check their spam, or use the resend activation email button.
When your client logs in to their NetClient portal, the ClientFlow link will be available in the navigation pane.
Notes
- You don't have to wait for the ClientFlow user to register before you can publish documents.
- A NetClient administrator can log in to NetFirm to confirm if the portal is unregistered or if a login has been created.
- A login that uses & or any other special character was likely created in UltraTax CS. GoFileRoom and NetClient CS do not allow for logins to be created with these special characters but work with logins created using this method.
