On January 14, 2020 Microsoft ended support for Windows 7. Because Thomson Reuters cannot support customers using our applications on unsupported operating systems, GoFileRoom is no longer supported on Windows 7. We strongly recommend that you upgrade your workstations to a supported operating system. For more information, see End of support for Windows 7.
Client Add-In
We have updated the GoFileRoom Client Add-In to version 20.0.4. While updating to the latest version is not required to continue using GoFileRoom, it is strongly recommended that customers install this version as soon as possible to resolve the issues detailed below.
Note: GoFileRoom supports the current and one prior version of the Client Add-In. If your firm experiences any issues, verify your users have the latest version of the Client Add-In installed.
- We have addressed an issue with the installation of the Client Add-In add-in that prevented Word and Excel files from being edited in some Terminal Server environments.
- We have addressed an issue that prevented multi-factor authentication push notifications from being generated in certain scenarios when logging into ControlPanel or QuickLaunch.
- You can now open non-standard files without being prompted to install the latest version of the ControlPanel Add-In.
- You can now email documents from GoFileRoom and attach GoFileRoom documents to Outlook emails without receiving a script error.
