Show expandable text

You can enable modules and applications on a user-by-user basis, or you can enable a group of users to access modules or applications.

Follow these steps to enable modules and applications on a user-by-user basis.

  1. Click Administration.
  2. Click Users in the NetStaff CS section.
  3. Locate the staff member in the Users column for whom you will enable modules or applications.
  4. In the Permissions section, click Enable to give the staff member access to that module.
  5. To enable the Virtual Office CS applications, click Enable next to Virtual Office CS, mark the appropriate checkboxes, and click Enter to save the changes.

Note: The checkboxes are grayed for any modules or applications that the user has access to based on his or her group membership.

  6. To give the current user permission to edit the content of a News or Links module, click Enable next to the appropriate News or Links module. Be sure to mark the Edit checkbox for any private Links modules the current user will access.

Note: Edit checkboxes are available only if the corresponding module checkboxes have been marked.

  7. When you are done, click Enter button. Any modules you enabled will be available to the current user the next time he or she logs in to NetStaff CS.

Note: To simply view the users who have a particular module or application enabled, see Determining which users have access to each module.
