Disabling advanced printing features for applications running in Virtual Office CS, Software as a Service, or Virtual Client Office

Show expandable text

When printing from applications that are running in the Virtual Office CS, SaaS, or Virtual Client Office environment, documents may not print correctly. In many cases, disabling advanced printing features resolves this.

If print jobs are not printing correctly or not printing at all, check the following:

  • That your printers appear in your printer list.
    • Windows 10 or 8: Run a search, enter devices and printers, and click Devices and Printers.
    • Windows 7: Choose Start > Devices and Printers.
  • That the printer you will print to is listed in the drop-down list in the application's Print dialog. Example: In FileCabinet CS, check that the printer is listed in the Printer drop-down list, which you can access by choosing File > Print and clicking the Print button.

You can disable advanced printing features for any printer that is listed.

  1. Close all applications that are running in the Virtual Office CS, SaaS, or Virtual Client Office environment.
  2. This step varies depending on your operating system.
    • Windows 10 or 8: Run a search, enter devices and printers, and click Devices and Printers.
    • Windows 7: From the Start menu, choose Devices and Printers.
  3. Right-click the desired printer and choose Printer properties.
  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Unmark the Enable advanced printing features checkbox.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Re-open the application and try to print.
