Linking a Web Employee portal with a NetClient CS portal

If you have a client with an existing NetClient CS portal and you are setting up Web Employee for this client, you can link the Web Employee portal with existing NetClient CS portal. This will provide a "single" login so that the NetClient CS user may view payroll check stubs, W-2s, W-4s, and/or use Web Time Entry to enter hours worked from within their NetClient CS portal via the My Payroll option.

To link the portals, the NetClient CS portal should be created before the Web Employee portal is registered and activated, and the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address used in the NetSClient CS User Account Settings must match the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address in the Web Employee's Account Settings.

Note: The Login names will be different but they do not need to match to link the portals together.

NetClient

To edit a NetClient CS portal, click the Admin button on the toolbar, select Users under NetClient CS. Select the NetClient you want to edit in the Users column and edit their information on the right side of the screen.

Web Employee

To edit a Web Employee's account information, click the Administration button on the toolbar, click on Users under the Web Employee section. In the top right corner select the company in the Client drop down list, and then select the appropriate employee in the Users column to edit. If you enter the same First Name, Last Name, and Email Address you used for the NetClientCS user, a My Payroll option will appear in the NetClient CS user's portal.



Employees will still have the ability to log directly into their Web Employee portal.
