Modifying a NetStaff CS group’s access to modules

Show expandable text

You can assign NetStaff CS users to groups, and give the groups access to modules.

Note: The NetFirm CS Staff [System Group] includes all NetStaff CS users. You can give all current and future NetStaff CS users access to modules through this group.

  1. If you haven’t already done so, add a NetStaff CS group.
  2. In the Admin tab of the navigation pane, click the Groups link in the NetStaff CS section.

Note: If you don’t see this link, you don’t have access to this area.

  3. In the Groups list, enter any part of the group name in the Find field and click the group name. NetFirm CS displays the group’s information on the right.

Tip: Delete the entry from the Find field to view the full list of groups.

  4. In the Permissions section, you can enable modules, disable modules, and modify module permissions. A permissions dialog opens when you click the Enable or Disable button. Click the name of a module below to learn about its permissions.

Note: The Account Aggregation module and the Staff Availability module do not have permissions dialogs. NetStaff CS users determine the content of these modules.

NetFirm CS lists all of the drawers that were designated as contributors to NetClient CS the last time your firm placed a call to CS Connect. To view detailed information about how the drawer list is determined, see Document Presentation administration.
