Managing multiple devices for multi-factor authentication

You can pair more than one multi-factor authentication (MFA) device with your Digita NetStaff login credentials. Having more than one device associated with your account helps ensure that you won't get locked out of your applications if your primary device is lost or inaccessible.

Pairing additional devices with your Digita NetStaff account

To add an additional MFA device to your account, complete these steps.

  1. On the new MFA device that you intend to pair with your account, install the Thomson Reuters Authenticator app or another TOTP-compliant authenticator app.
  2. In Digita NetStaff, click your name in the upper right corner and choose Manage Multi-factor Authentication. Your previously paired MFA devices are listed here.
  3. Launch the MFA setup wizard by clicking the Add Option link and entering the password for your Digita NetStaff login.
  4. Follow the prompts in the setup wizard to pair your additional device with your account.

Removing a paired device

To remove a paired MFA device from your account, follow these steps.

If multi-factor authentication is required by your firm, you must have at least one paired MFA device associated with your account. You can remove all additional MFA devices using these steps.

  1. Log in to Digita NetStaff.
  2. Click your name in the upper right corner and choose Manage Multi-factor Authentication. Your paired MFA devices are listed here.
  3. Click the Remove button and enter your Digita NetStaff password to remove a paired device.
