Complete these steps to download and install licenses for Planner CS.

Notes

  • To download and install updated licenses, choose Help > About Planner CS, click the Download Licenses button, and follow the prompts.
  • If you also purchased licenses for FileCabinet CS, Fixed Assets CS, ToolBox CS, and UltraTax CS, this process installs the licenses for these applications as well. There is no need to repeat the process from within each application.
  1. Open Planner CS. In most cases, the Enter Firm ID and PIN dialog opens automatically.

    Note: If the Enter Firm ID and PIN dialog does not open automatically, choose Help > About Planner CS and click the Download Licenses button.

  2. Enter your firm ID (listed on your CS web account and on your mailing label) and PIN, and then click Next.

    Note: If the CS Connect - Communications Setup dialog opens, you need to change your communication settings. For more information, see Setting CS Connect communication options.

  3. CS Connect logs in to our secure data centers and downloads your licenses. Follow the prompts to install the licenses.
