Planner CS keyboard shortcuts

Some of the most commonly used commands, such as Open Plan or Print, are assigned keyboard shortcuts that allow you to execute the command directly from the keyboard without opening the down menu first.

Key Combination Result in Data Entry
CTRL+A Copy the amount from the current field to the subsequent fields in that row within the alternative.
CTRL+B Open the Backup/Check Out dialog in which you can archive a client's data or check it out.
CTRL+D Open the Delete Plan dialog in which you can choose the plan you want to delete.
CTRL+E Copy the amount from the current field to the same field and year in subsequent alternatives.
CTRL+F Open the Find Field dialog which you can use to find a specific field in the main data-entry window.
CTRL+L Copy the amount from the current field to the same field in all subsequent columns.
CTRL+N Open the New Plan dialog in which you enter information for a new plan.
CTRL+O Open the Open Plan dialog in which you can select a plan for processing.
CTRL+P Open the Print Reports dialog.
CTRL+PAGE DOWN Move to the previous property in the Activities button.
CTRL+PAGE UP Move to the next property in the Activities button.
CTRL+R Open the Print Forms dialog where you can print Form 1040-ES.
CTRL+S Save the open plan's data.
CTRL+T Toggle the automatic calculation feature on/off. Turning the calculation feature off improves data entry speed in large plans or on computers with slower processors.
CTRL+TAB Advance to the next tab in the dialog.
CTRL+Y Open the Help & How-To Center (from the Planner CS Home Page or the main data-entry window) to access extensive information about using Fixed Assets CS.
F1 View help about a specific data-entry field in the main window (the cursor must be in that data-entry field when pressing F1) or open the Help & How-To Center to view information about the current screen and access extensive information about using Fixed Assets CS.
F7 Open the pop-up calculator while in any numerical field.
F9 Move to the previous data entry field.
F10 Move to the next data entry field.
F11 Move to the next button in the main data-entry window.
SHIFT+F11 Move to the previous button in the main data-entry window.
F12 Move to the next tab in the main data-entry window.
SHIFT+F12 Move to the previous tab in the main data-entry window.
