Use this procedure to add one or more state modules to an open plan. Note that you must be licensed for, and have installed, the state modules you want to add.

Adding a resident or nonresident state module to the open plan from the Edit menu

  1. Choose Edit > Add/Remove States to open the Add / Remove States dialog.
  2. Select a state from the Resident state drop-down list.
  3. Mark the checkbox next to each nonresident state you want to add.
  4. Click OK to close the Add / Remove States dialog. You can now open an added state module by clicking the state flag button in the Planner CS toolbar or by choosing View > Federal/States and selecting a state module from the menu.

Adding a resident or nonresident state module to the open plan from the Plan Information dialog

  1. Choose File > Plan Information to open the Plan Information dialog.
  2. In the States group box, select a state from the Resident state drop-down list.
  3. To select nonresident states, click the Nonresident States button, mark the checkbox next to each nonresident state you want to add, and click OK.
  4. Click OK to close the Plan Information dialog. You can now open an added state module by clicking the state flag button in the Planner CS toolbar or by choosing View > Federal/States and selecting a state module from the menu.
