In the Project dialog, the % Complete field shows a calculated percentage of budgeted hours for all completed tasks relative to the total budgeted hours for the project.
Example:
| Task Budgeted Hours | Tracking | |
|---|---|---|
| Task 1 | 5.0 | Completed |
| Task 2 | 2.0 | Completed |
| Task 3 | 3.0 | Not Started |
| Project Total Budgeted Hours | 10.0 |
% Complete: (5.0 + 2.0) / 10 = 0.70, or 70%
