MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

The UltraTax CS asset module includes menu commands for performing various tasks or accessing different areas of the application. The menu commands that are available vary depending on whether the Asset tab's Asset List window or the Asset Detail dialog is open. The following summarizes the commands that are available in the Asset tab menu and the Asset Detail menu.

Tips

  • Many frequently used menu commands are assigned keyboard shortcuts that allow you to quickly execute the command. For example, when the Edit menu is not open, pressing CTRL+A opens a new record in the client's Depreciation tab into which you can enter information for a new asset. When available, keyboard shortcuts are listed next to the commands in the drop-down menu.
  • See Menus and toolbars in UltraTax CS for more information on other menus and toolbars in UltraTax CS.
