IRS filing deadline update
The IRS MeF system is now processing returns, and the filing deadline has been extended to 11:59 PM on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. For the latest details, see UltraTax CS alerts and notices.
Federal consolidated group consists of:

The Mississippi unitary business group does not include the federal Subsidiary Blue, but does include Subsidiary Green.
- In this situation, choose File > Client Properties.
- In the Group tab of the Advanced Properties dialog, highlight Subsidiary Blue in the consolidated group list and click the Remove button.
- Highlight Subsidiary Green in the client list and click the Select Subsidiary button.
- Repeat this procedure with the applicable eliminations clients.
Note: The Mississippi unitary business group may have a different parent client from the federal consolidated group. In this situation, a new consolidated client would need to be created with a new parent company and a separate EIN. Choose File > New Client to create this client.
