If the shareholder is a nonresident, enter a code from the following table or select the code from the drop-down list to indicate the type of nonresident filing to be made by the shareholder. Description

1

Pass-through withholding payment (default)

This is the default filing for nonresident shareholder when a code is not selected from the drop-down list. Select this option to indicate the nonresident shareholder should calculate a pass-through withholding payment on Schedule K-1-P(3).
2

Form IL-1000-E on file (Non-individual only)

Select this option to indicate the shareholder is exempt from pass-through withholding payments and Form IL-1000-E was previously filed. UltraTax CS does not complete Schedule K-1-P(3). This option does not apply to individual non-resident shareholders per Form IL-1000-E instructions.
3

Complete Form IL-1000-E (Non-individual only)

Select this option to indicate the shareholder is exempt from pass-through withholding payments and Form IL-1000-E is being filed this year. UltraTax CS does not calculate Form IL-1000-E and the form must be completed as a non-calculating form by the user. This option does not apply to individual non-resident shareholders per Form IL-1000-E instructions.

Note: Options 2 and 3 indicate the nonresident shareholder should not be included in the calculation of pass-through prepayments. UltraTax CS modifies the calculation of the pass-through entity payment for Form IL-516-I or Form IL-516-B to exclude this nonresident shareholder.

Mark this checkbox if the shareholder is a Grantor Trust. When you mark this checkbox, UltraTax CS modifies the calculation of the pass-through entity payments and marks the Trust checkbox on Form IL-1000 for the entity type on applicable forms. UltraTax CS also marks the Grantor Trust checkbox on Schedule K-1-P, Step 2, line 9b.

Mark this checkbox if the shareholder is a Disregarded Entity. When you mark this checkbox, UltraTax CS marks the Disregarded Entity checkbox on Schedule K-1-P, Step 2, line 9b.

Enter the name of the entity the Schedule K-1-P amounts will be reported by. When you enter a name, UltraTax CS completes the Name field on Schedule K-1-P, Step 2, line 9b.

Enter the SSN or FEIN of the entity that will report the Schedule K-1-P amounts. When you enter a SSN or FEIN, UltraTax CS completes the SSN or FEIN field on Schedule K-1-P, Step 2, line 9b.

Enter the C/O for the shareholder. When you enter a C/O, UltraTax CS completes the C/O field on Schedule B, Section B.

UltraTax CS provides this statement dialog for supplemental information specific to each shareholder. Use this statement dialog for items that are not pro-rata. If you have pro-rata items that need to be reported to each shareholder, use Section A in Screen ILKSep. UltraTax CS prints the information you enter in this statement dialog in the Schedule K-1-P statements.
