MFA required for electronic filing
Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

The menu bar at the top of the Shareholder Information window provides drop-down menus from which you can choose commands for performing various shareholder data-entry tasks. The following table summarizes the commands available in these menus.
Menu | Function |
---|---|
Shareholder | Add, insert, and delete shareholders. Also, print shareholder reports and close the Shareholder Information window to return to the current input screen or form. |
Edit | Perform tasks related to shareholder data entry: cutting, copying, and pasting shareholders; adding, editing, or deleting a shareholder note; opening the Find dialog in which you can search for a specific shareholder; deleting all overrides you have entered for either the highlighted shareholder or for all shareholders; and using the built-in calculator. |
Column | Open the Sort Shareholders dialog to sort the Shareholder spreadsheet in the Shareholder Information window by the shareholders' last names, or by the selected column in either ascending or descending order. |

Tips
- To open a menu without using the mouse, press ALT and the underlined letter in the menu name. For example, pressing ALT+S opens the Shareholder menu.
- Once a menu is open, press the underlined letter in the command name to select a command. For example, when the Shareholder menu is open, press A to add a blank record in the Shareholder tab in which you can enter data for a new shareholder.
- Many frequently used menu commands, such as Add Shareholder, are assigned shortcut keys that allow you to choose the command without opening the drop-down menu first. For example, when the Shareholder menu is not open, press CTRL+A to add a blank record in the Shareholder tab in which you can enter data for a new shareholder. When available, shortcut keys are listed next to the commands in the drop-down menu.
