Change to CS Support service hours

Our Support department is closed on [[date]]. However, limited UltraTax CS phone support is available on that date from 9 AM - 5 PM ET due to the approaching deadline.

Links to our most popular tax processing topics are available in the Alerts and notices section on the right side of most pages.

Use this dialog to force the everywhere amount for a specific state's apportionment form. When the amount in the Apportionment spreadsheet's Everywhere / (Override) column does not apply to a particular state, you need to use this dialog to force a different everywhere amount for that state's apportionment form. See Force everywhere amounts for apportionment forms.

To open the State Everywhere Force dialog, choose View > Apportionment or press CTRL+B with a 990 state client open. Click the Edit State Everywhere Force button or choose Edit > State Everywhere Force.

Notes

  • White fields: UltraTax CS uses the amounts you enter in the white fields in the state columns as the everywhere amount on that state's apportionment form. If you enter data in a white field, UltraTax CS ignores the corresponding amount that appears in the Apportionment spreadsheet's Everywhere / (Override) column for that state only. For additional information on how the white fields on the spreadsheet are combined onto the apportionment forms, refer to the Apportionment Combination Tables guide.
  • Shaded fields: You cannot enter data in the shaded fields in the state columns. Fields are shaded if there is a statement dialog for that component in the Apportionment spreadsheet or if that component is not used on the state apportionment form.
  • Force the Everywhere Amount for all states: If desired, you can force the Apportionment spreadsheet's everywhere amount for all states rather than for just a single state. See Overriding everywhere amounts for all apportionment forms.
