MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

By default, the Asset List window includes the following columns in the following order: Asset #, Description, In Service (date), Disposal Method, Tax Cost/Basis, Tax Current Depr, and Group.

To add other columns, change the order of columns, and/or delete a default column, perform the following steps.

  1. Open the Asset List window for an activity.
  2. Choose Setup > Options.
  3. In the Options dialog, click the Asset List tab.
  4. Use the Select and Remove buttons to select the desired columns. The columns listed in the Columns selected pane on the right will appear, in the order listed, in the Asset List window.
  5. To change the position in which a column appears, highlight the column in the Columns selected pane, then click the Move Up or Move Down button until it appears in the desired position in the list. Repeat this step until all columns are listed in the desired order.

    Tips

    • The options selected here only apply to the open client.
    • Click the Restore Default button to return to the default column settings.
  6. Click OK to close the Options dialog.
