MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

Thomson Reuters is committed to proactively evolving our security features to help you protect your firm and your clients' data. For more information about multi-factor authentication, see Multi-factor authentication overview.

Can a gift be entered with a date of "various?"

UltraTaxCS/709 does not accept "various" as the date of a gift because the Internal Revenue Service requires that each gift be entered with a specific date. The date is used to establish the value of the gift and to begin the statute of limitations. If a gift is given on more than one date, the gift must be divided into separate entries.
