MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

Use the state tabs at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window to enter state-specific apportionment information. State tabs appear only if you have added states to the client and if additional apportionment information is required.

To enter state-specific apportionment information, click the appropriate state tab at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window.

Special information for processing Florida returns

The application provides predefined statements for factor components requiring detail information. The application uses the information you enter in the statements in the Everywhere column on the form for that component. The application ignores amounts from the Everywhere / (Override) column for that component.

If you process a client with Florida attached, and the Florida partnership return was not selected in client properties, the Florida apportionment grid is still visible. However, all fields are disabled.

Fields & buttons

General Information group box

The application uses information you enter in this group box to complete form fields and answer questions that are not addressed in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet.

Enter intangible property in the statement. The application transfers this information to Form F-1065, Page 2, Part IIIC, line 4.

Alternate Apportionment group box

Enter any transportation services revenue miles in these fields. The application transfers these amounts to Form F-1065, Page 2, Part III-B, line 1.
