Use the state tabs at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window to enter state-specific apportionment information. State tabs appear only if you have added states to the client and if additional apportionment information is required.

To enter state-specific apportionment information, click the appropriate state tab at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window.

Alternate apportionment group box

Use the fields in this group box to use alternate apportionment for this state. Entries in these fields take precedence over any entries in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet for this state.

Enter the business income both in Illinois and Everywhere for financial organizations. UltraTax CS ignores apportionment entries made elsewhere in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet when calculating the Illinois return.

Enter the revenue miles both in Illinois and Everywhere for transportation companies. UltraTax CS ignores apportionment entries made elsewhere in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet when calculating the Illinois return.

Enter the business income both in Illinois and Everywhere for federally regulated exchanges. UltraTax CS ignores apportionment entries made elsewhere in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet when calculating the Illinois return.
