MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

Use the state tabs at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window to enter state-specific apportionment information. State tabs appear only if you have added states to the client and if additional apportionment information is required.

To enter state-specific apportionment information, click the appropriate state tab at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window.

Special information for processing Wisconsin returns

UltraTax CS provides predefined statements for factor components requiring detail information. UltraTax CS uses the information you enter in the statements in the Everywhere column on the form for that component. UltraTax CS ignores amounts from the Everywhere / (Override) column for that component.

UltraTax CS uses information you enter in this group box to complete form fields and answer questions that are not addressed in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet.

Click this button to open the Additional Sales Information dialog.

Click this button to open the Financial Institutions dialog.

Click this button to open the Investment Companies dialog.

Click this button to open the Insurance Companies dialog.

Multiple Factor Formulas group box

Click the button in this group box to use alternate apportionment for this state. The information you enter in the dialog takes precedence over any entries in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet for this state.

Click this button to open the Interstate Transportation dialog.
