Change to CS Support service hours

Our Support department is closed on [[date]]. However, limited UltraTax CS phone support is available on that date from 9 AM - 5 PM ET due to the approaching deadline.

Links to our most popular tax processing topics are available in the Alerts and notices section on the right side of most pages.

Use the Custom Allocation Scheme dialog to define a percentage or units allocation scheme for custom allocations. See Entering special allocations (1065) for details about adding allocations types to an allocation scheme.

To open the Custom Allocation Scheme dialog, choose View > Partner Information, and click the Allocations button. In the Allocations window, choose Edit > Create Custom, enter the custom allocation title in the Title field, click the Percentage or the Units option as the method, and click the Next button.

Click this option to use a single percentage column to specially allocate the amount to the partners.

Click this option to use a single unit column to specially allocate the amount to the partners.

Other fields & buttons

In the columns in this grid, add, edit, or delete the partner note and enter the unit or percentage you want to allocate to each partner. The option you select in the Allocation scheme group box determines which columns appear.

  • Click the field in the partner note column Field Note button for a partner to open the Field Note/Tick dialog to review, modify, or delete the partner's note.
  • Columns with a % heading are percentage columns.
  • Columns with a # heading are unit columns.

Note: Click a column heading to sort the grid information in ascending order. Click the column heading again to sort the grid information in descending order.

Click this button to open the Distribute dialog to distribute a remaining percentage equally or pro rata to specific partners.
