MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

You can create blank client folders in FileCabinet CS for UltraTax CS clients. To create this list in FileCabinet CS, complete the following steps.

  1. In UltraTax CS, choose Help > Repair to open the Repair dialog.
  2. Click the Misc tab.
  3. Click the FileCabinet CS option in the Populate CS Applications group box.
  4. Mark the Create an UltraTax CS folder in FileCabinet CS clients checkbox, if desired.
  5. Click the Populate button.

    Note: This option is available only if you have FileCabinet CS installed. If you have this application installed and the button is still unavailable, choose Setup > User Preferences, click the File Locations tab, then click the FileCabinet CS option and modify the location as necessary.
