MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

Thomson Reuters is committed to proactively evolving our security features to help you protect your firm and your clients' data. For more information about multi-factor authentication, see Multi-factor authentication overview.

Practice CS is part of the CS Professional Suite of applications and it enables you to oversee all of your time and expense, billing, accounts receivable, and firm management reporting. It gives you the flexibility to handle every practice management task for your firm, with the features and convenience of the Windows environment.

You can export invoice information from UltraTax CS so you don't have to re-enter the billing information that appears on an UltraTax CS invoice into Practice CS. This invoice information is used to track the accounts receivable and process receipts in Practice CS. Also, client data is shared between UltraTax CS and Practice CS using the data sharing feature.

For more information on Practice CS, start Practice CS and choose Help > Help & How-To Center.
