MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

Error Code R0000-902-01: Duplicate Condition: Taxpayer TIN in the Return Header must not be the same as a TIN of a previously accepted electronic return for the return type and tax period indicated in the tax return. Duplicated Submission (rule R0000-902).

Your Taxpayer Identification number (TIN) cannot be used more than once in the return or on another return. Verify that the taxpayer identification number was entered correctly. If the TIN was entered correctly, then you will have to file the return on paper. You can contact the IRS Identity Protection Unit at 1-800-908-4490. Refer to Form 8948 - Paper Filing Exceptions if filing the return on paper.
