Error code FPYMT-074-01: If the return is received after the due date of the return, then the 'RequestedPaymentDt' in the IRS Payment Record must not be later than the date the return was received.

If an electronically filed return is received by the IRS after its due date, the date entered in the Requested payment date field on Screen ELF, located under the Electronic Filing folder, cannot be later than the date the e-file was received. For example, if you are electronically filing a Form 1041 Trust after its due date of April 15, change the date in the Requested payment date field to the current date, re-create and retransmit the electronic file.
