Error code FPYMT-086: 'EstimatedPaymentDueDt' in the IRS ES Payment Record must not be more than 5 days prior to the received date.

The above error occurs when one or more requests for the electronic withdrawal of estimated tax payment(s) are present yet whose requested payment date(s) are more than 5 days prior to when the IRS received the e-file. For example, if a 1041 Complex trust is timely extended and then later e-filed on June 15, the electronic return filed on June 15 may not request that the estimated tax payment for April 15 be electronically withdrawn. In such a case, access the Screen ELF, located within the Electronic Filing folder, and within the the Electronic funds withdrawal for estimated tax section unmark any option(s) that correspond to a date more than 5 days in the past. You may then re-create and resubmit the e-file.
