Error code R0000-905-01: Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) in the Return Header must be listed in the e-File database and in accepted status.

Review the EFIN entered under Setup > Office Configuration > Electronic filing tab. If the EFIN is correct and you are getting this error code, you need to call the IRS (1-866-255-0654) and verify that you are approved to electronically file 1065 returns. Refer to the IRS's e-services - Online Tools for Tax Professionals webpage (which is accessible by pointing your internet browser to www.irs.gov/taxpros and clicking the "e-services - Online Tools for Tax Professionals" link) for more information.

Note: In conjunction with this error, you may also receive IRS Letter 5903. If you did receive Letter 5903, follow the instructions on the IRS website to re-activate your e-Services account. If you correctly entered your EFIN and did not receive Letter 5903, call the IRS e-file help line at 1-866-255-0654 to find out the status of your EFIN.
