The following message is received: The UserID/PIN Combination Entered is Invalid or not a Filing Signer type.

Follow the instructions below to resolve the issue.

  1. Log in to efast.dol.gov.
  2. Click the Login link on the left side.

  3. Enter your User ID and Password. If you do not know your User ID, click the 'Forgot User ID' button, then enter your Email address.

  4. Answer your Secret Question and click Submit.

  5. If you do not know your password, click Forgot Password.

  6. Click on Search by User ID or Email and enter either your User ID or Email address and click next.

  7. Answer your Secret Question and click Submit.

  8. Enter a new 10 to 16 Character Password, Be sure it has at least 1 letter and 1 number in it.

  9. Click Submit.

  10. Log in again with your User ID and Password.

  11. Click User Profile on the left side of the screen.

  12. Ensure that the Filing Signer box is marked at the bottom of the screen.

  13. If it is not, click Change Profile at the bottom and then mark the box.

  14. Click Submit.

  15. Your User ID and PIN should be valid and ready to use to sign your return.
