MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

Error code F990-908-01: For each entry in the "Affiliate Listing" [AffiliateListing], (Affiliate Listing is attached to Item H(b)), the combination of EIN, Name Control, and GEN (provided in Form 990), must match data in the e-file database.

When receiving this rejection, verify EINs and names entered on Screen 990, located under the General folder, in the Affiliates included, if not all statement dialog (near the middle of the input screen). If EINs and names are not entered correctly, enter the correct information and then you can recreate and resubmit the electronic file. If all the EINs and names are correct, then you'll need to contact the IRS at 800.829.4933 for assistance. If this cannot be resolved, the return will need to be filed on paper.
