MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

The Michigan Treasury Department has indicated that the form MI-8879-MBT, MICHIGAN BUSINESS TAX E-FILE AUTHORIZATION, should be retained by the tax preparer in his or her records as part of the taxpayer's printed return. Form MI-8879-MBT should not be attached to the return.
