MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

You can include the corresponding federal forms when printing state tax returns for specific collations (Government, Client, or Preparer) from the File > Print Returns dialog. To do so, complete the following steps. 

  1. Depending on whether UltraTax CS is set up for office-wide or user-defined print options, do one of the following:
    • Office-wide print options: Choose Setup > Office Configuration, enter the master password if required, then click the Print Options tab.
    • User-defined print options: Choose Setup > User Preferences and then click the Print Options tab.

      Note: This tab is available only if you are licensed for the network version of UltraTax CS.

  2. On the Print Options tab, mark the Allow Federal forms to print with state returns for these collations checkboxes for the collations with which you want to include federal forms.
  3. Click Done.
