Follow these steps to customize how return, extension, and input screen page headers print.

  1. Depending on whether UltraTax CS is set up for office-wide or user-defined print options, do one of the following:
    • Office-wide print options: Choose Setup > Office Configuration; if required, enter the master password and click OK; and then click the Print Options tab.
    • User-defined print options: Choose Setup > User Preferences and then click the Print Options tab.

      Note: This tab is available only if you are licensed for the network version of UltraTax CS.

  2. In the Print Options dialog or tab, mark the desired checkbox(es) in the Other than client documents section of the Print at the top of each page group box. The items you select will be printed at the top of all returns, extensions, and input screens.

    Note: By default, the client ID, date, and time are printed in the upper-left corner of the page. You can use the slider in the Print Options tab to position the printed items in four different locations across the top of the page.

  3. Click Done or OK.
