MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

Thomson Reuters is committed to proactively evolving our security features to help you protect your firm and your clients' data. For more information about multi-factor authentication, see Multi-factor authentication overview.

If you used the Data Entry Display dialog to hide folders or input screens and want to view them for data entry, follow the steps below.

Accessing hidden folders

  1. Click the More Folders button
    More Folders button
at the bottom of the folders block so it expands to show the folders that are currently hidden.
  2. Click the desired folder. The folder is then displayed in the folder list. If you do not enter data on an input screen in this folder, UltraTax CS will hide the folder the next time you open the client.

Accessing hidden input screens

  1. To access an input screen that is currently hidden, click the folder that contains the input screen you want to access.
  2. Click the hidden input screen Hidden input screen button button in the upper-right corner to show the list of hidden input screens.
  3. Select the input screen you want to access from the drop-down list. If you do not enter data in this input screen, UltraTax CS will hide the screen the next time you open the client.

Note: For information on changing the display conditions for multiple folders or input screens at one time, see Configuring the order and visibility of folders and input screens.
