MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

What is the purpose of the closing document?


Mailing the closing document, along with Form 706, facilitates the processing of the estate tax return. To prevent the closing document from printing, choose Setup > 706 Estate Tax, and click the Tax Return button. Change the print condition for the closing document to Never. This change applies to all returns.

Note: UltraTax CS only generates the closing document; the IRS will produce the amounts for the closing document.
