Use this dialog to add or edit searches, as well as to link a search to a recommended report and/or letter.
To open this dialog, click the Add/Modify Searches button in the Print Selection and Client Search dialog or choose Setup > Add/Modify Searches in the Data Mining window.
Fields & buttons
This column lists existing searches.
Use the drop-down list to select a recommended report from all existing reports so that it is linked with the search listed to the left. Once a report is selected as the recommended report for a search, it will be added automatically when the search is selected in the Print Selection and Client Search dialog.
Use the drop-down list to select a recommended letter from all existing letters so that it is linked with the search listed to the left. Once a letter is selected as the recommended letter for a search, it will be added automatically when the search is selected in the Print Selection and Client Search dialog.
This checkbox is marked if search criteria have been combined.
Click this button to open the Select Search Criteria dialog where you can add a search.
Click this button to open the Select Search Criteria dialog where you can edit the selected search.
Note: Predefined searches cannot be modified.
Click this button to delete the selected search.
Note: Predefined searches cannot be deleted.
Click this button to add a new search with the same criteria, but with a different or new name.
Highlight a search description and click this button to open the Combine Searches dialog. In this dialog, select a product from the Product drop-down list and add or remove search criteria to be combined with the search you selected.
