Question
Why are the amounts on Schedule M-3, Part II, line for Total expense / deduction items the negative equivalent of the amounts on Part III?
Answer
Per the Schedule M-3 instructions, the negative equivalent of the amounts reported on the Total expense / deduction items line in Part III, should be reported on corresponding line in Part II.
