Why is the sale information not appearing on Form 990-PF, Page 3, Part IV?

Answer

Form 990-PF, Part IV is for reporting capital gains and losses for the calculation of tax on investment income. For a sale activity to appear in Part IV, enter X in the Investment property field on Screen Sale or in the Investment Prop column of the statement dialog attached to the Detail schedule field on Screen SchD. Do not enter a code in the Unrelated business code field on Screen Sale or in the UBIT column of the statement dialog attached to the Detail schedule field on Screen SchD.
