Use this dialog to copy the Method/Life table from one treatment to another or to clear the selected Method/Life table.
To open this dialog, with the Method/Life Wizard dialog open, click any treatment tab (at the bottom of the dialog) except Tax or Book.
Note: The Method/Life Wizard Treatment Options dialog appears each time you click a treatment tab (except Book or State) after opening the Setup > Method/Life Wizard dialog. If you choose the Copy methods and lives for all assets from option or the Clear all methods and lives for all asset classes option, you will have to close and then reopen the Method/Life Wizard dialog to open this dialog and choose a different option.
Fields & buttons
Choose from the following options to set up the treatment.
- Copy methods and lives for all assets from: Click this option and then choose the desired treatment from the drop-down list to establish a new treatment based on another treatment. You can then edit the new treatment's methods and lives without affecting the treatment from which you copied methods and lives. Note that choosing this option clears any methods and lives that are currently set up for this treatment before copying over the new methods and lives.
- Clear all methods and lives for all asset classes: Click this option if you will be changing the treatment to a new treatment and want to clear the old treatment's information first.
- Exit without editing: Click this option if you do not want to make any changes to the treatment's Method/Life table.
