Question

Why is Form 4562 not calculated when depreciation information has been entered?

Answer

Form 4562 is not calculated if 100 percent of the depreciation and amortization amounts are allocated directly to the beneficiaries. If less than 100 percent is allocated to the beneficiaries, only the remaining percentage appears on Form 4562. If depreciation and amortization percentages have been entered in error in the View > Beneficiary Information > Federal tab > Other Allocations group box, removing those percentages allocates the deductions to Form 4562.
