If a beneficiary is not receiving a distribution during a tax year, you can suppress the printing of that beneficiary's Schedule K-1.

  1. In the client's return, choose View > Beneficiary Information.
  2. Click the applicable beneficiary in the Beneficiary Name list.
  3. Click the Beneficiary tab.
  4. Enter X in the Suppress printing of this Schedule K-1 field in the Other Information group box.
  5. Click Done to close the Beneficiary Information window.

Notes

  • If the beneficiary does not receive an allocation and is not suppressed, a Schedule K-1 prints for this beneficiary with “NO TAXABLE INCOME” above Part I.
  • The Suppress printing of this Schedule K-1 field is not available for charitable remainder trusts, qualified subchapter S trusts, grantor trusts, or agency relationship returns.
