Credit for foreign gift taxes
Gift tax conventions apply to the countries indicated in the Form 709 instructions. To claim a credit for a foreign gift tax payment, calculate the credit manually and enter it this field. Attach your calculation to the return with evidence that the foreign taxes were paid.
