Use this dialog to enter Schedule R-2 information.

To open the Schedule R-2 dialog, choose View > Apportionment > California tab, and click the Schedule R-2 button. Note that you must have a 1065-CA client open to open this dialog.

Schedule R-2 Information

UltraTax CS uses the information you enter in this dialog to complete form fields and answer questions that are not addressed in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet.

Nature and location of California activities

Briefly describe the nature and location of California business activities in the statement.

Title and principal business activity of all joint ventures, partnerships, or LLCs

State the exact title and principal activity of any joint ventures, partnerships, or LLCs in the statement.

Does Schedule R-1 include all sales shipped from CA where purchaser is the US Government?

If no, in the statement, explain why Schedule R-1 does not include all sales shipped from California where purchaser is the US Government. If this statement is blank, UltraTax CS enters Yes as the default answer.

Does the CA sales in Schedule R-1 include all sales shipped from CA to states in which the taxpayer is not subject to tax?

If no, in the statement, explain why Schedule R-1 does not include all sales shipped from California to states in which the taxpayer is not subject to tax. If this statement is blank, UltraTax CS enters Yes as the default answer.
